CANTO A LA LLUVIA

Art Exhibition
Alliance Française, Panamà

2020

Canto a la Lluvia is a series of six hanging sculptures and one central installation symbolizing the praise and prayers of our ancestors to attract rain in times of drought. As a result, they not only brought rain but also the flourishing of our forests and with it an explosion of colors.

We worked in collaboration with Clandestino Labs in the execution of the central piece called "Lluvia" (Rain) that mixes regular threads with threads made from recycled plastic bottles, which, in contrast to the rest of the artwork, serves as a wake-up call on the current climate situation.

This series was part of the exhibition under the same name that took place at the French Alliance of Panama in January 2020.
